Ena Boskovic

Biography

My name is Ena and I am a visual artist working with ceramics and photography. Born in the former Yugoslavia, raised in Canada, and having lived in Mexico and the USA, my diverse background has shaped who I am and what I do.

I create ceramic vessels, building each slowly and intuitively, honoring imperfections and organic shapes. I am drawn to photograph the skin, the sky, and the sea… the real and the imagined. My self-portraiture reflects Frida Kahlo’s idea: “I am the subject I know best. The subject I want to know better”, serving as a deep exploration and understanding of myself. Using clay and the camera, my art opens up a sense of fulfillment and a deeper connection to the world around me.

In 2021, I founded Ena Ceramics Studio in Tulum, Mexico. I later graduated from the Creative Practices Program at the International Center of Photography in New York (2024), and was recognized as a winner of Fresh Eyes International Talent 2025
